HADO (刃 道) is a premium Japanese kitchen knife brand crafted in Sakai City, Osaka, a region renowned for centuries of blade-making. Founded in 2019 by Fukui & Co., the company built on a 109‑year tradition and introduced HADO – meaning “road of blades” – to unite master blacksmiths and an in-house sharpening team.

Blades are forged by top Sakai artisans like Yoshikazu Tanaka, Satoshi Nakagawa, and Shogo Yamatsuka, using high-quality steels (e.g., Shirogami, Aogami, Ginsan, SG2), and then precisely sharpened by Tadataka Maruyama in their dedicated workshop.
